The Remote Support Platform (RSP) for SAP Business One is designed to protect your SAP Business One installation and to monitor the entire SAP Business One environment.

RSP gives you real-time system monitoring and system assessments, alerting you to any areas that may need attention. The RSP scans and reports on system readiness to ensure smooth daily business operations.

As of 1st January 2014, all SAP Business One users are required to have RSP installed in order to receive direct SAP support, troubleshooting and bug fixing requirements. If you do not have RSP installed and require SAP’s assistance, there will be delays in support and there will be charges and fees from SAP for each instance that you may have.


RSP Monitoring & Managed Services

Once you have the RSP installed and configured you can then sign up to our monitoring service that provides you with the benefits of the RSP. Regular monitoring ensures that your SAP Business One environment performs at an optimum level and any issues are isolated, flagged and handled to ensuring the smooth running of your critical business operations. With the monitoring service you can:
  • Reduce your total cost of ownership ( TCO) due to increased operational effectiveness and decreased time for support
  • Minimise unplanned downtime and business disruption
  • Achieve peak system performance, stability and improved data consistency

The monitoring service includes regular System Status Reports and a monthly RSP Monitoring Report/Analysis. The System Status Reports provide:
  • Automatic checks on important system factors such as disk space and back-up status
  • Detailed information on business setup and customisation
  • Overview of hardware and software configuration
  • Traffic lights to visually indicate system readiness and areas that need attention
  • Reports highlight changes compared to the previous reports and include previous data


Setting up RSP
A one off fee of $450 plus GST to cover the costs of installation, implementation, testing and dashboard set up.
Monitoring service/ Analysis
A flat rate of $600 plus GST per year, for the monitoring service and 12 reports per year. This can be added to your annual maintenance or charged separately. Any additional work required as a result of the analysis is to be charged at your normal rate.
