Australian Wool Exchange (AWEX) is a membership-based organisation that adds value for the benefit of its members and stakeholders by providing services and functions for the effective and efficient trading of wool in Australia.
Established in 1994, AWEX and its systems evolved and modernised over time to better serve its growing membership classes including wool brokers, exporters, private treaty merchants, processors, wool producers and associates. Multiple systems were introduced to better manage members however in doing so created additional complexities and a lack of overall visibility of member information. Staff were unable to easily locate customer data in a timely manner due to their disparate systems with no single clear source of information.
AWEX chose to work with FUJIFILM MicroChannel on the successful implementation and transitioning of existing data to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service application, hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
